Designing, writing, and illustrating a children's book was a first for me. Something that pushed me out of my comfort zone. And that’s exactly why I felt I had to do it. This book pushed me to allow my painting to be playful and free, it allowed my writing to be kind yet real, and showed me how InDesign can really work wonders. Beyond that, the process of designing a children’s book taught me how to think visually through a child’s eyes, balancing color, rhythm, and simplicity to create something engaging, heartfelt, and full of imagination.
